Welcome!  I have been working as a therapist for over 30 years.  In that time, I have acted as a therapist, supervisor, expert consultant, and trainer in the area of abuse and trauma with adults and children.  I have undergone specialized trainings in working with adult, children and adolescents and in the areas of depression, anxiety, behavior problems, adoption and attachment.  In addition, I have significant training and experience in working with families and divorce. I feel passionate about helping people have hope for the future.  Too often people feel hopeless and helpless when thinking about making changes in their lives.  I believe, with a helping hand or fresh perspective, we can all discover the strength and steps needed to make the changes required for a happier and healthier life.  I believe in structuring therapy based on the needs and personality of the individuals involved.  I utilize many different kinds of therapeutic approaches, but feel my most important strength is my nonjudgmental attitude and flexibility that allow me to help many different kinds of people.
