About
Michele Leininger, LCP
Welcome! I have provided therapy for children, adolescents, families, and adults for over 30 years. In that time I have acted as a therapist, supervisor, expert consultant, and trainer in the area of abuse and trauma with adults and children. I have undergone specialized trainings in working with children and adolescents in the areas of anxiety, depression, behavior problems, and attachment. I have considerable training and experience in working with individuals and families dealing with divorce. I feel passionate about helping people have hope for the future. Too often people feel hopeless and helpless when thinking about making changes in their lives. I believe, with a helping hand or fresh perspective, we can all discover the strengths and steps needed to make the changes to be happier and healthier. I believe in structuring therapy based on the needs and personality of the individuals involved. I utilize many different therapeutic approaches, but feel my most important strength is my nonjudgmental attitude and flexibility that allow me to help many different kinds of people. I hope to have the opportunity to work with you!
